Thanks for contacting our school about this seal which was in use from 1954 until 1984 when it was replaced by another design. We had attributed the design to B.D.Zevin of World Publishing, but indeed letters in the WRA Archives merely show that he was the executive at World Publishing in Cleveland which had an office in New York, and one letter refers to an art designer who probably was Ismar David.
