Ismar’s first job for Pinelawn. It was owner Alfred Locke’s choice to use this quotation by John Donne. His original concept had been something quite different, involving a literal island. Instead, Ismar designed this modern and monumental inscription. The lower case letters measure approximately 7 inches high.
